Silver Medal for Canadian Dressage Team at Pan American Games
On the first day of equestrian competition at the XVI Pan American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico, the Canadian Dressage Team won its third consecutive silver medal in the team competition. By winning the silver medal, the Canadian Dressage Team also earned a berth for the 2012 London Olympic Games.

Canadian Dressage Team Prepares for Pan American Games
The XVI Pan American Games officially began with a spectacular Opening Ceremonies on Friday evening, October 14. Equestrian sport begins with Dressage, the first of the three equestrian disciplines to contest team and individual medals, held at the Guadalajara Country Club near the city centre.  A record number of entries for the Pan American Games – 47 horses representing 14 nations – were presented to the FEI Ground Jury for the mandatory horse inspection on the morning of October 15.  m competition.

Canada's Tom Dvorak Finishes Fourth Individually at Pan American Games
Tom Dvorak of Hillsburgh, ON, finished fourth in the Individual Dressage competition held Wednesday at the XV Pan American Games. He was edged out of bronze medal position by the smallest of margins, 0.05%, by Yvonne Losos de Muñiz of the Dominican Republic riding the 11-year-old Hannoverian stallion, Bernstein Las Marismas.

Tom Dvorak in Individual Medal Hunt at Pan American Games
In the first round of individual dressage competition at the XV Pan American Games, equestrian athlete Tom Dvorak of Hillsburgh, ON, lies in fourth position, only 1.4 points behind the leader, Christopher Hickey of the United States. Fellow Canadians Diane Creech of Caistor Centre, ON, and Andrea Bresee of Brockville, ON, are in seventh and ninth place, respectively. All three riders are qualified for the Individual Final on Wednesday, July 18.
