August 29, 2007 – Québec, Québec – In keeping with its objective of supporting the next generation of show jumping athletes, CAVALOR CANADA, a division of Pegase Medical Inc., is proud to announce that Tonya Henning and Amanda Knowles have been added to its roster of sponsored athletes.

Having supported Quebec show jumping athletes Bianca Lafontaine and Frederique Côte, both members of the Silver Medal Quebec Junior Team at the 2007 North American Young Riders' Championship, Cavalor Canada has now extended its support to two up and coming Ontario riders.

Henning, 22, of Cambridge, ON, is one of Canada's top amateur competitors. Training with Olympic Champion Rodrigo Pessoa, Henning divides the year between North America and Europe competing against the best show jumping athletes in the world. A veteran of the 2005 North American Young Riders' Championship, Henning is making her foray into the grand prix ranks and, in May, placed fourth in the $50,000 Mary Rena Murphy Grand Prix at the CSI3* Kentucky Classic riding her Canadian-bred gelding, Mill Creek Sparky.

"Since I was already using Cavalor's products in my horses' training routines with great results, I was thrilled when Cavalor offered to sponsor me," said Henning, who cites Cavalor muscle build and Cavalor powered performance as two products she uses with all of her competitive horses. "Cavalor's support means so much to me because they are such a well-known and respected company, and yet they are willing to help me as a young, relatively unproven rider."

Knowles, 16, has already enjoyed a sensational career despite her young age. In 2005, she was a member of the Silver Medal Junior Team at the North American Young Riders' Championship and, in 2006, returned home with a Team Bronze. Currently training with Martien van der Hoeven, Knowles is excelling in the junior and amateur divisions and, on the highly competitive winter circuit in Wellington, FL, this past winter, claimed numerous top ten finishes, including victories and championship titles, in the high junior jumper ring riding Spygirl and Marco Taere.

"Cavalor's sponsorship has given me a fantastic opportunity to try new products on my horses," noted Knowles. "Spy Girl is allergic to what seems like everything, so we have been using Cavalor Resist on a regular basis and it has stopped her from coughing. Marco Taere is a nervous horse, and we have found that Cavalor Calm and Cavalor Destress have really helped him. All of our horses are on Cavalor Hoof Aid Special, a maitenance product that Francis suggested, and it seems to be working very well."

Of its decision to sponsor Henning and Knowles, Cavalor Canada General Manager Francis Berger explained, "Both Tonya and Amanda take the sport very seriously, and I have been impressed by their professional conduct as well as their ability in the show ring. It is very important to Cavalor Canada to recognize and encourage those up and coming riders who represent the future of our sport. Through our sponsorship, we are helping Tonya and Amanda to reach their competitive goals."
